My first trip out of the country marked my “Turning 50” year toward excellence. It was the most amazing, emotional and spiritual experience of a lifetime. If this is what sets the stage for the upcoming year, I am all in!!
I was more than blown away by the amount of beauty that surrounded me. I quickly made the surrounding beaches my week-long sanctuary. My senses were awakened and rejoiced in unison. Every morning, my internal alarm clock awakened me, and I would walk to the nearby beach to meet the sunrise. There was never a moment of disappointment as the Supreme Deity showed up and showed out. I succumbed to Her power, gave praise, and acknowledged the dynamic exchange of everything within the universe. My prayers were met with crashing waves and the aromatic beauty of an amazing light breeze. My accommodations were equally as pleasing. I ate only what was grown from the earth, completed numerous therapeutic and meditative exercises, and learned so much during this holistic retreat. I cannot define my experience by words alone, I was guided to only ‘feel.’ And that I did!!
If one is led to feel the magic of the land and the love of self, then our healing journey begins with taking the first step!!
